Lights On Creative Submissions

Feeling creative?

This year, PMC is hosting a different take on the average carol service, with Lights On on Friday 4th December.
As part of this, we’d like to feature how creative our PMC family is. We’d love to create an exhibition of creative works as part of the concert, and maybe even feature some “on stage” in the event itself.

If you’d like to get involved, all you need to do is come up with something creative on the theme of “Lights On – the light coming into the darkness”. This piece can be anything. A poem, a short story, a painting, a piece of music, whatever your creative expression looks like.

Once you’ve created your piece, please use the form below to submit it to us. We’ll close off submissions on Sunday 1st November, after which a few of us will get together and look them through, and decide which pieces to include in the exhibition, and which to include in the concert, and let you know as soon as possible.

The exhibition will run from around the time of the concert, through till after Christmas, and will be accessible when the church is open.
(And don’t worry, we also have a traditional carol service, on the 20th December)

If you have any questions, please talk to PJ on webadmin@penrithmethodist.co.uk, or Michael Boone.
